European Blockchain Convention 2025: Bare Metal with a European Address

The European Blockchain Convention held its eleventh edition at Fira Barcelona on 16 and 17 October 2025, and velia.net was there. The organiser calls it an ecosystem event that brings every corner of the industry under one roof.

A European institution asks which country the machine stands in before it asks anything else. A region in a console is a product name. A city on a contract is an answer. We run servers in Frankfurt and Strasbourg, and we went to Barcelona with that answer.

Networking and Innovation

A conference does what a call cannot: it puts the team with the problem and the people with the hardware at the same table. These were the conversations we went to Barcelona to have.

  • Dedicated servers in Frankfurt and Strasbourg for teams that need a European address on the contract.
  • What one physical machine with no other customer on it changes for a compliance review.
  • One operator across Frankfurt, Strasbourg, New York, Miami, St. Louis and Singapore.
  • Monthly terms and zero setup fee for teams that scale node fleets up and down.

Key Points of our Attendance

Our focus at the European Blockchain Convention stayed on four themes:

  • The worst minute matters more than the average one.
  • No hypervisor between the workload and the metal.
  • No shared tenancy, so nobody else's workload sits next to yours.
  • A named city on the contract, not a region in a console.
