ISE 2026: When AV Moves onto the Network

Integrated Systems Europe, the annual show of the audiovisual and systems integration industry, filled Fira de Barcelona Gran Via from 3 to 6 February 2026, and velia.net was there.

Audiovisual work is moving onto the network: streams, control rooms and signage now run on servers. A live stream has no second take, so the machine behind it should not be shared with workloads nobody told you about. We went to Barcelona to talk about that machine.

Networking and Innovation

A conference does what a call cannot: it puts the team with the problem and the people with the hardware at the same table. These were the conversations we went to Barcelona to have.

  • Dedicated servers for streaming, media processing and control platforms.
  • What one physical machine with no other customer on it changes for consistency.
  • One operator across Frankfurt, Strasbourg, New York, Miami, St. Louis and Singapore.
  • Monthly terms and zero setup fee for projects that run for a season, not for a decade.

Key Points of our Attendance

Our focus at ISE stayed on four themes:

  • The worst minute matters more than the average one.
  • No hypervisor between the workload and the metal.
  • No shared tenancy, so nobody else's workload sits next to yours.
  • A named city on the contract, not a region in a console.
