TOKEN2049 Singapore 2025: Bare Metal in Asia

TOKEN2049 Singapore ran at Marina Bay Sands on 1 and 2 October 2025, and velia.net was there. For two days the industry's Asian calendar collapses into one convention centre.

Singapore is also where we run servers. A team with users in Asia should not have to serve them from another continent, and it should not have to share the machine that does it. That is the conversation we went to have.

Networking and Innovation

A conference does what a call cannot: it puts the operator with the problem and the people with the hardware at the same table. These were the conversations we went to Singapore to have.

  • Dedicated servers in Singapore for exchanges, node operators and trading teams.
  • What one physical machine with no other customer on it changes for consistency.
  • One operator across Singapore, Frankfurt, Strasbourg, New York, Miami and St. Louis.
  • Monthly terms and zero setup fee for teams that are still finding their load.

Key Points of our Attendance

Our focus at TOKEN2049 stayed on four themes:

  • The worst minute matters more than the average one.
  • No hypervisor between the workload and the metal.
  • No shared tenancy, so nobody else's workload sits next to yours.
  • A named city on the contract, not a region in a console.
